Each concept is read twice: whether the approach carries it, and whether the approach's own sources claim it. A concept that is absent and was never claimed is a gap in the field rather than a failure of the work, and is marked out of scope.

Analysis
Nothing is set against anything. The model takes the facilitator's, moderator's and summarizer's seats while the platform keeps everything else, and what the first paper offers against the risks it identifies is principles and techniques for characterizing and mitigating them. The second paper's remedy is future research and investment. Neither names a body holding both the means and the motive to check another.
Non-domination

You are unfree if someone holds unchecked power over you, even benevolently. What matters is not whether power is used well but whether the governed can contest it.
Analysis
The stated aim is to empower the public in collective meaning-making, and the second paper's direction of travel is towards more decentralized, participatory online spaces, so power is at least pointed at the governed. But the facilitator, the moderator and the summarizer are themselves uncontestable: no participant is given a way to challenge how the model rendered the conversation, and the first paper's own finding that context limits significantly affect insight and quality makes that uncontested step consequential. Being empowered by a process is not being able to contest it.
Agonism

Deep disagreement is permanent and should not be dissolved into consensus. A healthy system converts enemies into adversaries — opponents whose conflict stays alive and legitimate — rather than declaring the argument settled.
Analysis
Division at scale is the subject matter, and the second paper says plainly that these tools risk exacerbating societal schisms, so conflict is treated as real rather than as noise, and while a conversation runs the disagreement inside it is live. What the tools are for nonetheless works towards common ground: summarization for collective meaning-making, bridging systems for what crosses the divide. Mouffe's requirement is that the adversarial relation stay standing as legitimate, and nothing here is built to keep it standing.
Incentive compatibility

Design the procedure so that honest behavior is each participant's best strategy. The rules of the game do the enforcement, instead of trusting the participants to be good.
Analysis
Proof-of-humanity goes to whether a participant is a person, not to what it pays them to say. Nothing in either paper makes candid statement of one's actual view a better strategy than strategic posting, and the summarization step is entirely unpriced: a participant who writes for the summarizer rather than for the room bears no cost inside the procedure.
